Infrared Sensors

Infrared sensors come in two different types (Passive, Active). Passive infrared devices sense temperature changes and are more commonly known as motion detectors. Active infrared devices are used as a beam technology that provides an invisible line that counts when it is broken. They are commonly used as door sensors and in edge detection for manufacturing.

Our trail counter uses the active beam technology to provide a covert and non intrusive installation that is portable and reliable.

Our Millennium Trail Counter is best used on trails, to count pedestrians, where usage reports are needed to maintain and or expand the area in which it is monitored.
