Do I need a password to install Centurion?

    No. Centurion uses an online connection to register your software. It's important you enter any required information to Register; it's with this information that a License can be issued to you if you purchased the software automatically. Otherwise, the software has a 30 day trial period.

Can I get a copy to try out first?

    Yes. You can download a copy to try free for 30 days. If you decide to purchase the software just contact us and arrange for payment and your copy that you downloaded will be licensed without any extra installation needed!

Does Centurion work with Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP?

    Yes. It works with all version of Windows operating systems. It was designed around Windows XP but functions just as well in previous versions. If you experience trouble with Windows installations contact software support.

Can I program my counters/classifiers with Centurion?

    Yes. Diamond Traffic units are fully compatible for file downloading through all version of units. Programming and monitoring are available units of 2.39 through 2.45. Older units can be programmed through TrafMan.

What is the major difference between the Centurion Gold, CC, Parks, Field, Lite versions?

    Centurion is separated into different version to make it easier for agencies and users to work more efficiently. Our City/County (CC) version, Parks & Recreation, and Field version (for on site programming and downloading) are all utilized for their respected fields of use. Our Lite version is for the Pocket PC and is compatible with all of the other Centurion Packages.

What can I do with my traffic data?

    Centurion CC stores traffic data in a database and organize your sites and original data neatly, then you can either export that data into more than 12 export types including MS Excel or create your own report in Centurion with the custom report generator, or just use a quick report already formatted.

Does Centurion work with Microsoft Excel©?

    Yes. Not only can it export to MS Excel, we have a shortcut added into Centurion to directly open and format the data for you. It makes exporting to Excel a snap.

Can I call my stations remotely with Centurion?

    Centurion does not directly support calling via modem of FTP sites, but with the addition of ProComm you can call up and communicate with.

Can I use other software with Diamond units?

    The traffic units can communicate with TrafMan or Centurion alike. While our communication protocol is open, our software is currently the only package available to program and monitor the units. There are a few custom providers other than Diamond Traffic that do support file downloading; please contact us for more information on these providers.

Which Diamond units are compatible with Centurion?

    Check the following list for compatibility. Some older units can be upgraded to be compatible with Centurion. Contact us for availability.
